It was hot and beautiful and very nice to spend time with my folks.  My mom’s birthday is soon; I was inspired to paint her a little pineapple palm with one of my daughter’s favorite quotes written on the back:

BE A PINEAPPLE, stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside.
